In The Community
    Dr. Maria Del Rio Hoover, a wonderful friend and client of ours and one of the top doctors in the NICU unit at St. Mary's has asked all the knitters at Knittwitts to please help her and the babies out by knitting preemie hats. Maria has even brought over premie diapers for us to have to show all of you the size of these beautiful babies. If you can help her and the babies out by stopping in and picking up a pattern she likes for the babies and then drop those hats back at the shop she would greatly appreciate it. Dr. Del Rio Hoover and Kelly Vincent, a nurse in the NICU stops in regularly to pick up the hats and deliver them.
     Dr. Del Rio Hoover has had Katie and I over to the NIC unit on several occasions to do special tasks for her. On those visits we have been speechless after seeing these tiny babies. It touches the deepest part of your heart when you see these tiny babies and realize they are coming into this world needing special help and attention. Our "hats" are off to the dedication that Dr. Del Rio Hoover and all the other wonderful doctors and nurses give these babies. Remember "our children today are our future of tomorrow".
